1979 F150 4X4
No longer for sale. I have decided to continue working on it and use it around the farm. An update on my old work truck. A friend of mine was going to buy it but do to a mission trip to Africa that took more money than he expected could not afford it and God told me to just give it to him. He has begun restoring it and has made some progress I will try to get pictures and post on the progress of it. As for me it is exciting to watch as this old truck comes back to life because it has always been dependable and as unique as myself.
Here is a great work truck or one that could compete in the of road arena. This truck has a big block 352 with a granny 4 speed transmission. It comes with 2 sets of wheels 4 steel and 4 aluminum. The 35×12.50×15 tires have some tread but not in great shape. It is a short step side bed that needs some work. It has a 8′ channel iron front bumper with a 8 thousad pound winch mounted to it. there is a heavy trailer hitch on the back. The overall body is in fair condition It does have a few rust spots but the truck has allways been dependable. If your looking for something that will get you threw some rough spots, up a mountain or just sling a little mud this will do it. I have seen this truck pull loads that a 25 hp tractor couldn’t move; It has all the power you should need. So whether you want something to pull your friend out with when there stuck or get into rock climbing this is your truck. Or maybe a project truck to repair the body and have something that not only has the power and abillity to go where you want to go but do it in style.

As of this update the bed has been removed and the frame being sanded and painted. For me It is exciting to hear of the progress as this old truck goes from being a rusty old farm mud truck to one of beauty and usefulness. Check back for updates, I am sure it will take awhile to get this completed.
I have plans to add a flatbed when I get time and maybe even finish the body work. I think this will do a good job hauling hay and vegetables around the farm.
I find myself coming to your blog more and more often to the point where my visits are almost daily now!

I think the article reminds us again of the simple things to do to improve a practice. I’ve yet to see a doctor (or personally) receive a patient’s anger for being late or bad things happening around the office. Patients yell at just about anyone and everyone except the doctor. So I agree with the Doc being the calming influence around the office.Also, this brings up the consumer vs. patient debate. I don’t know if they are mutually exclusive, but I don’t like the idea of “consumer” because if the company doesn’t give you what you want, you go somewhere else. Well, I’m sure that my refusal to hand out antibiotics for sinus infections, colds, and earaches may cost me a few patients (maybe ones that I wouldn’t want in my practice anyway or maybe it’s just that I do a poor job of convincing people they don’t need them [usually], thanks standard of care!) 25 years later, I would be interested to see an xray of each of your knees- the normal one and the ACL deficient one. I bet there are significant side to side differences.Activity modification is still a viable option for an ACL tear in the right patient/setting. But 25 years ago, the surgery was different, the technology (implants) were different and most surgeons would have kept you in the hospital 3-5 days (and some even would have put you in a cast up to your hip for 6 weeks after this operation.)
To be honest, I don’t speak great English, but I believe I understood most of this. It would be good if it was in my language also. Great site anyway!

Hey, if your switching to a flatbed and you want to get rid of that step side I’d be happy to talk about a price. I will be recieving my drivers licence soon so about 6 months ago I bought and began restoring a 79′ Ranger and finding a bed has really posed challenges seeing as few people have the integrity to keep it in half way decent shape. Just let me know.
The wood in the bed is rotted out and the steps have rusted out so it probably wouldn’t do you much good
